Prettier Than Flowers
Fell sick this week and only started recovering on Sunday. Sneaked out for some street food comfort—a warm bowl of imitation shark fin soup (wun tsai chi).
Whole Coconut 🥥
Had some double-boiled coconut chicken soup—really needed some nourishing broth to nurse myself back to health.
GAGA
Went to GAGA again in the evening for some blueberry cake. Couldn’t eat any of it myself though—even swallowing saliva hurt, so I just watched others feast~~
Fruit Hunter
- Lychees: Coming to the very end of the season. Only Guiwei and Xianjinfeng varieties left, but prices are way too steep—can’t afford them.
- Yingzui Peaches (Eagle Beak Peaches) 🍑: Bought about 5 jin (~2.5 kg) from Lianping. So many peaches, couldn’t finish them all, and only cost ¥35.
- Passion Fruit: You MUST get the Qinmi No. 9 variety. It’s pricey, but ridiculously sweet and delicious.
