Checked out a new mall this weekend to spend some downtime, and picked a tempura spot for dinner~~
Interesting Tools
Elevenlabs
https://elevenlabs.io/
A super expressive TTS tool, though unfortunately web-only.
I’ve always been looking for an app where I can import a docx file and click on any sentence to read it aloud. Existing apps on the market either have subpar conversion or charge absurdly high monthly subscriptions~~

CPU Comparison
https://cputronic.com/
A CPU specs comparison site—the UI fits my aesthetic quite nicely~~

Sendtokindle
https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle
Dug up my vintage Kindle—remember buying this Kindle Paperwhite 3 right after graduating. Nowadays, this is about the only convenient way left to upload books~~

Life
Took a Trip to HK in July, Got a Bank Card on the Side
https://life.biyongyao.com/life/2025-08-hk-tour
It sounds simple, but it actually took quite a chunk of time~~
Monotony of Daily Life
Wondering if everyone else feels that days fly by so fast. The past few years have blurred past—10 years gone in the blink of an eye.
The few moments that leave a memory each day now:
- Morning commute (seeing different people, switching up routes)
- Lunchtime walk (routes aren’t fixed either)
- Evening commute (seeing different faces, rotating between several routes)
I’ve talked about this before: if every single day is just repeating the same routine, what is the meaning of life? You might not even feel truly alive.
The only thing I can do right now is try my best to find non-repetitive things to do within each day.
The Film Era
Went shopping on Sunday and came across a stall selling film rolls + vintage cameras. Pretty intriguing—a few hundred bucks each, neither cheap nor pricey~
