Reflections on Awakening
Came across an interesting takeaway:
Only 1% of people achieve “true clarity / awakening” before age 30;
Only 3% achieve it around their 30s (“establishing oneself”);
Only 8% achieve it after 50 (“knowing one’s fate”);
Roughly 80% of people still haven’t figured out their relationship with society or the true meaning of existence even after 50. So many spend their entire lives busy without truly knowing what they’re living for. And even after awakening, many still cannot change their circumstances—they can only accept reality.

Finally broke into the 4’xx” /km pace! Working constantly lately caused my stamina and physical fitness to dip quite a bit.
The 9 Tones of Cantonese
I’ve always struggled to distinguish the 9 tones of Cantonese, but someone taught me the mnemonic sentence “番茄醬牛腩麵逼客食” (Ketchup beef brisket noodles forced on guests to eat) to tell them apart. Not sure how accurate it is, but it’s fun!
Keyboard
The keyboard ⌨️ was getting a bit dusty, so I took it apart for a thorough clean. It’s been with me for 7 years now, but still looks practically brand new.
Fish Oil
Ran out of fish oil recently and restocked. Sharing the brand I’ve consistently taken—they also have an “Ultra” version, though that one’s a bit pricey.
