Snapped along the riverbank on my walk home. The street performer was so pretty with such a sweet voice! Her rendition of “You’re Still the Best” totally caught my attention. Lately I’ve been walking home often via Ersha Island—getting some exercise while soaking in life and slowing down the daily pace~~

The Cable Speed Drop Mystery
My Shanze Ethernet cable started suffering frequent speed drops this year—plunging from 2.5G down to 100M. I spent ages troubleshooting, initially thinking it was an Intel i226 NIC compatibility issue. Turned out the problem was the cable itself: either oxidized RJ45 pins or the wire gauge was too thin. Won’t buy ultra-thin flat cables just for neatness anymore. Crimping my own Cat 6 cables completely solved the speed drops.
